This was a dessert/drink experiment my boyfriend and I came up with - so good! Each person can mix to suit himself/herself!
42 people made this
- 12 cups filter coffee
- 1 (500ml) tub vanilla ice cream
- 350ml Irish cream liqueur, such as Bailey's
MethodPrep:30min ›Ready in:30min
- Brew 12 cups of coffee. While the coffee is brewing, fill six mugs with a scoop of ice cream each. Be sure to use large mugs. Top each scoop of ice cream with just enough Irish cream so that the ice cream looks lightly coated.
- When the coffee is brewed, pour it so that each mug is filled up about halfway. It is then up to each individual to add more Irish cream, milk or sugar to suit his/her taste.

This. Is. AWESOME. My husband and I absolutely adored this drink. I used my own homemade irish cream liqueur and I think that really took it over the top. Incredible nightcap drink. Very decadent. NOTE: Math is not my strong suit but if you cut this in half and use one medium sized scoop of ice cream instead of one full pint of ice cream, you'll get two perfect servings. I don't know if something got lost in translation when the recipe was added to this site, but the way I did it worked for us.-06 Feb 2012

Baileys Irish Cream Parfait Recipe
Baileys Irish Cream Parfait Recipe is an easy dessert recipe combining Irish Cream, pudding and cake. Our no-bake parfait recipe comes together in a matter of minutes and will be the perfect ending to your day of celebrating all that's Irish!
Ingredients of Orange Sundae
- 2 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 cup low fat milk
- 12 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon orange juice
- 1/4 cup half and half
- 1 teaspoon orange liqueur
- 250 gm chopped cooking chocolate
How to make Orange Sundae
Step 1 Simmer the milk and half-and-half
To start preparing this sweet orange dessert, take a heavy saucepan and simmer milk and half-and-half in it on a medium flame. Bubbles will arise but do not let the milk boil. (Note: Half-and-half can be substituted by mixing 1/8 cup of whole milk and 1/8 cup of light cream or melted butter. This will give you the required quantity to prepare this dish.)
Step 2 Add butter, chocolate, orange zest, juice and liqueur
After the milk is simmered, remove the saucepan from heat and add butter and chopped chocolate into the simmered milk. Stir continuously until smooth and incorporated. Next, add orange zest, orange juice and orange flavoured liqueur. Stir well again and let it freeze. Serve chilled along with vanilla yogurt and enjoy.
