RECIPE PREPARATION Fruit salad:

I've been making fruit salad for a very long time, but I haven't posted the recipe yet because it varies quite a lot, depending on tastes.

However, lately I can say that I stopped at a recipe - the one below.

It can be used as a basic recipe, and other fruits can be added to it (for example - berries).

Even if there will be crooks who will say that this recipe is not healthy, that it has many calories, that it does not combine cream with I don't know what other ingredient in the salad, etc., I can tell you that it is healthy and even filling (it can easily replace a meal - for example dinner).

In terms of calories, it has very few (82 calories / 100 grams). Classic sweets have between 400-500 calories / 100 grams.

This fruit salad is full of nutrients, including vitamins and minerals.

For an even healthier version, fresh fruit can be used instead of cherry and pineapple compote.

Ingredients for six servings of fruit salad
& # 8211 two medium bananas
& # 8211 two medium apples (depending on preferences)
& # 8211 two medium pears
& # 8211 two medium-large oranges
& # 8211 ½ seedless cherry jar (I buy from Râureni) or 100-150 grams of fresh, ripe cherries

& # 8211 a vanilla sugar sachet (I use bourbon from Dr. Oetker - you can make it at home too & # 8211 see don't use vanilla sugar)

Depending on the season, other fruits such as berries, strawberries, etc. can be added to these ingredients.

The result is a tasty fruit salad of about 1.8 kg.

How to prepare fruit salad
Fruit salad is quite easy to make. If we consider the resulting large amount we can consider it one of the most effective recipes.

Peel bananas, apples, pears and oranges and cut according to preference (you can see the picture below).

If you use fresh cherries and pineapples, you must remove the seeds, respectively peel and cut the pineapple.

When using compotes, cut the pineapple slices and add the cherries. The fruits in the compote must be drained of juice (do not squeeze them - let gravity do its job).

You can see that the cherries may still contain seeds and so manual checking is required for each one.

Put all the cut fruit in a bowl.

In a bowl add the cream, vanilla sugar and honey. Mix well (no mixer required) and add over fruit.

Mix well and leave for 30-60 minutes in the refrigerator.

Costs
The costs for six servings of fruit salad are about 16-18 RON (2017 prices), depending on the season and the products used.


5 FRUIT WINTER SALAD recipes

If you like fruit salads but do not know how to combine the ingredients, take inspiration from the recipes below. Citrus and tropical fruit salads are ideal for the winter, when our body needs more vitamins.

Winter Fruit Salad

♣ Basic fruit salad

• 3 oranges
• 3 kiwis
• 2 bananas
• 1 apple
• 2-3 tablespoons of raisins
• 3-4 tablespoons of coconut

Squeeze the juice from 2 oranges. Use the third orange for the salad, peeling it and cutting it into small pieces. Put the orange cubes in a bowl. Add diced apple and kiwi fruit, as well as sliced ​​bananas. Add the raisins, orange juice and coconut flakes. Stir gently. If you still need liquid, add a little water.

♣ Romanian fruit salad

• 1 white grape
• 2 pears
• 2 apples
• some peaches from compote (if you have)
• 1 handful of nuts

Mix sliced ​​pears and apples with the grapes. Sprinkle the fruit with a little orange or lemon juice and season with chopped walnuts.

♣ Orange, kiwi and lettuce salad

• 2 oranges
• 3 kiwis
• 1 lettuce
• 3 tablespoons pine seeds

Place a few previously washed lettuce leaves on a plate. Peel the oranges and kiwi, then cut them into thin slices. Place them alternately over the salad, as nicely as possible. Then sprinkle the pine seeds.

Finally sprinkle all the ingredients with a dressing prepared from: 3-4 tablespoons of oil, 3 tablespoons of orange juice, 1 tablespoon of honey, ½ teaspoon of lemon juice, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of white pepper and 1 tip of cayenne pepper knife, if you have in the house.

♣ Grapefruit salad

• 3 grapefruits
• 2 bananas
• 1 handful of cranberries
• 3-4 tablespoons of honey
• juice from 1 orange

Put the freshly squeezed orange juice in the salad bowl and mix it with the honey until it dissolves. Add the cranberries, sliced ​​bananas and diced grapefruits. Stir gently and leave the salad to cool for at least an hour, then serve.

♣ Pineapple salad

• 1 small pineapple
• 1 pomegranate
• 2 grapefruits
• 2 tangerines
• 100 g of nuts

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Cut them into small slices and place them in a bowl. Add the pomegranate seeds and garnish the salad with a few nuts.

♣ Tropical salad

• 1 mango
• 2 bananas
• 3 oranges
• 2 slices of pomeolo
• 1 slice of pineapple (optional)

Cut mango, bananas, pomelo and pineapple into small pieces. Process the same with the peaches. Squeeze the orange juice and add it over the fruit in the bowl. Stir gently and let the salad cool slightly before serving.

  • two kiwis,
  • 200 milliliters of cognac (optional),
  • two cubes of brown sugar or honey,
  • 100 milliliters of orange juice,
  • 50 milliliters of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into medium cubes. Add the cognac and fruit juice. Brown the caramelized sugar and put it over the whole fruit combination or replace it with honey and mix the whole composition. Serve with or without cream and beautify with mint. Good appetite!
