Horned pudding with cherries
Because they had gathered some of the horns that the children receive at school, I said to do something good with them. A good pudding came out, slightly crispy on top and a little sour from the cherries and which turned out to be too little. : D
- 4 horns
- 400 ml of milk
- 4-5 lg sugar
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 lg yogurt
- 1 cup pitted cherries (I had them in a cake jar)
- cherry syrup
Preparation time: less than 30 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Horned pudding with cherries:
Prepare a ceramic bowl well greased with butter.
The horns are cut into small cubes (the horn cut into four lengths, then cut into cubes). It is placed in the tray. Sprinkle the cherries on top.
The milk is mixed with sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat eggs with yogurt separately. Homogenize and then mix with milk. Pour over the croissants in the pan. Place in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes, until it starts to brown on top.
Remove the tray from the oven, sprinkle on top with the cherry syrup (the syrup in which the cherries were in the jar), let it rise slightly then serve.
You can also use cherries from compote or from the freezer.
